Apply for S1 Revaluation & Answer script copy request

It is here by notified that the result of B-Tech S1 (R,S) Exam December 2018 is published. Grace marks for Differently abled students are not incorporated pending verification of documents. The detailed results are available in the KTU website. Students can apply for answer script copy and revaluation, by registering in the KTU web portal from 17.04.2019 Wednesday to 26.04.2019 Friday . The Fee for answer script copy is Rs.500/- per answer script and for revaluation, Rs. 600/- per answer script. The Colleges have to submit the requests and make payment to the university on or before 30.04.2019 Tuesday.

Provision for students to request for grade change is available in Portal

Students having two different grades for a course - one obtained after revaluation and other through supplementary examination - are now able to opt for lower grade obtained after revaluation instead of higher grade obtained after supplementary examination - if required. The provision for students to apply for the same will be available in student login from 16th April 2019 onwards. Tutorial for student activity in portal is available herewith. It should be noted that students should upload scanned copy of the filled up request in given format through portal. For this, download a request format available in request page, fill it up completely in own handwriting and obtain attestation of Staff advisor / HoD (with College seal) and then upload. Please note request for grade change on a particular course will be entertained only once. Once effected, request cannot be withdrawn. Also request through web-portal without uploading request in specified format and necessary attestation will be rejected.

KTU CS332 MICROPROCESSOR LAB MANUAL

8086 Microprocessor is an enhanced version of 8085Microprocessor that was designed by Intel in 1976. It is a 16-bit Microprocessor having 20 address lines and16 data lines that provides up to 1MB storage. It consists of powerful instruction set, which provides operations like multiplication and division easily. It supports two modes of operation, i.e. Maximum mode and Minimum mode. Maximum mode is suitable for system having multiple processors and Minimum mode is suitable for system having a single processor.

KTU CS334 NETWORK PROGRAMMING LAB MANUAL

Network Lab manual comprises of operating systems programs and network programs. The algorithms for operating system programs have been taken from Operating System Concepts by Silberschatz, Galvin and Gagne while those for network programs from Computer Networking, A top down approach, by Kurose and Ross. Screenshots are provided for programs which have just a screen full of output, while for larger outputs, copies of outputs are given. I would like to thank Mr Jiju of IT Department for providing the simulation of Network configuration, and MTech students Ms Nusrath, and Ms Sumaiya for providing simulations using NS2 simulator. The programs were developed using Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS on Intel core i3 machine with 3.8 GB RAM.

Refund of Revaluation Fee B.Tech Examinations 2016 and 2017 Sanctioned : check the list

1. above it was ordered that if the difference in marks obtained through revaluation is more than 15 %, the entire fee for revaluation, which is at present ₹ 600/-(Rupees Six Hundred Only) per paper will be reimbursed to the student through the Institution concerned under intimation to the student. Sanction is accorded for refund of an amount of ₹ 86,17,200/- (Rupees Eighty Six Lakh Seventeen Thousand and Two Hundred Only) to eligible students through the Institutions concerned as per the list appended. Expenditure on this account will be met from the Head of Account "J3-Activities 013-Examinations. Principals of Institutions will disburse amounts due to the students concerned as per the list . Orders are issued accordingly.
